About us
The 42ndRoF (AKA The Black Watch) were formed on the 5th of may 2012, shortly after the release of the Napoleonic Wars DLC, making them one of Mount & Blade's oldest Australian regiments. They were founded by Field Marshal Southpaw, who was quickly joined by many elite veterans of native.
The 42nd Regiment of Foot are a historical regiment who rose to fame during the Napoleonic Wars. They were elite, Scottish highlanders who distinguished themselves in the Peninsular campaign and at the battle of Waterloo. Their motto was: Nemo Me Impune Lacessit ("No One Provokes Me With Impunity") They are the one and only playable highlander unit in the game.
We have a history of welcoming new players to the game and training them into highly-skilled soldiers. We also have a reputation for maintaining friendly relations with other regiments.
