Highlander's Handbook

SCOTLAND FOREVER!
Code of Conduct

We pride ourselves on having friendly relations with other regiments. Trash-talking, trolling, or team-killing other regiments is unnacceptable under any circumstance.

Kicking, attacking, or any other form of harassment/trolling towards other regiments will not be tolerated.

Bullying and/or trash-talking members of the 42ndRoF is also unacceptable. Constructive feedback is welcomed, but shaming players based on anything including their skill or inexperience at the game is unacceptable. This applies doubly for more serious offenses like racial remarks, personal insults, etc.

Teamspeak

It's ok to have a bit of fun and mess around when we're not in a line battle. Here, things like soundboards and music can be used within reason but anything too loud and grating is frowned upon.

We don't use a Permission To Speak (PTS) system in the 42ndRoF because we don't need one. Our Teamspeak stays quiet during line battles, except for the commanding officer. The only exceptions allowed are for urgent updates, eg. You've just spotted an enemy regiment in close proximity that the commanding officer isn't aware of. Between rounds general banter is acceptable as long as the commanding officer isn't giving out instructions for next round.

Attendance

Attendance is never compulsory in the 42ndRoF, however, it is of course encouraged. We value your time so we never demand that you play when you don't want to, and we strive to make the most out of our training time. Training is typically schedueled an hour before events. We will never train instead of attending an event. There is very little time-wasting in this regiment, and training purely focuses on practical aspects that can only be achieved as a regiment; we believe that the best form of training is on the battlefield.
